David Barby congratulates Peter on a well run centre.

If you are a keen antiques TV programme viewer you will have enjoyed the first two series of Antiques Road Trip. Amongst the experts vying for success were David Barby and Philip Serrell. Both filmed at the Centre and were very complimentary, purchasing items they hoped would make a profit at auction.

Proprietor Peter was in full flow and Tina did her best to stop Mr. Barby charming his way to a bargain.

You may like to know a third series is being filmed and experts Anita Manning and James Lewis will be visiting the centre on Monday 29th August.

The summer is an active time of year for the antiques' trade and the Centre is no exception. In addition to St Martins Antiques there is the added bonus of seeing the magnificent Burghley House and Park at its best and exploring the beautiful town of Stamford.

It is a great time for you to buy because there is so much choice. Many people elect to sell their unwanted items in the summer months. Also if you have something to sell then now's the time, as numerous tourists enjoy purchasing a 'souvenir' of their visit from The Centre.

We would be happy to consider purchasing your unwanted antiques or placing them on display on commission.

Don't miss the large international antique fairs, at Lincoln and Newark They bring a lot of new buyers to the area. Remember to drop in on us if you are travelling up the A1.

And, if you are looking for a great day out antiquing, what could be better than visiting the regular antique fair held on the Stamford Meadows. The next one is on Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September. The Centre is barely 100 yards away.

Of course, any time of year, your collecting friends and family will appreciate a St. Martins Antiques Gift Voucher. With values from £5 to £50 you'll solve all your birthday or anniversary gift problems and they'll get just the present they want.
